The Embassy of the Philippines in Denmark, in collaboration with Nasdaq Copenhagen, co-organized the inaugural "Ring the Bell for Filipino Financial Literacy" on October 25. The gathering brought together esteemed speakers who shared their expertise and insights on finance and entrepreneurship.

During the event, Ambassador Leo Herrera-Lim conveyed the significance of financial literacy and empowerment for the 13,000 Filipinos in Denmark. He emphasized the importance of saving and investing as a means to secure financial well-being while contributing to the betterment of families. He shared that it is essential to recognize financial literacy as a tool to empower individuals to make informed choices and build a more secure future for both themselves and their families.

Participants at the event had the privilege of learning from a panel of finance experts and accomplished entrepreneurs including Sylvester Andersen, Associate Vice President at Nasdaq, Jiro Go, Index Portfolio Manager, and Celine Sandberg, Founder and CEO of Agoprene. The speakers offered invaluable guidance, encouraging the Filipino community to delve into financial literacy, entrepreneurship and diversification of their income sources.
