THE PHILIPPINE EMBASSY NOW ACCEPTS APPLICATIONS FOR PHILIPPINE TEMPORARY VISAS FOR THE FOLLOWING:
1. Those entering the Philippines for business, tourism and other purposes.
2. Seafarers
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
o Original passport and photocopy of data page valid for at least six (6) months
from date of departure from the Philippines
o Duly-accomplished application form
o One (1) 4.5 by 3.5 cm. colored photo. Check the photo requirements here.
o Airline ticket\ travel itinerary with flight details (inbound and outbound)
o Proof of financial capacity (e.g. bank account, certificate of employment, letter of invite, etc.)
o Personal appearance
o Service fee: payment via instant bank transfer preferred (for Danish bank account holders) only
· 9a Temporary Visa – single entry, 3 months – DKK 320.00
· 9a Temporary Visa (restricted) – single entry, 3 months – DKK400.00
· 9c Seaman visa – DKK240.00
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SEAFARERS
o Letter from shipping company
o Valid seafarer’s book
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR CHINESE NATIONALS
o Chinese Social Insurance Record Certificate. The certificate must be registered for at least six (6) months at the time of the submission of the visa application with English translation.
Exceptions:
· Chinese nationals currently enrolled in primary, secondary, or college education who will be required to submit proof of enrollment (with English translation)
· Retirees above 55 years old
THE FOLLOWING MAY ENTER THE PHILIPPINES VISA-FREE:
1. Filipino citizens. They are required to present either Philippine Passport, Identification Certificate (IC) or Certificate of Re-acquisition/Retention of Philippine Citizenship (CRPC) at the airport in the Philippines.
2. UNDER THE BALIKBAYAN PROGRAM (for non-visa-required nationals including Danish citizens)
a) Former Filipino citizens and the following relatives traveling with them:
o Spouses
o Children regardless of age
b) The following non-Filipino relatives of Filipinos who are traveling with the Filipino:
o Spouses
o Children regardless of age
3. Nationals of the country listed here who are travelling to the Philippines for business or tourism purposes are allowed to enter the Philippines without visas for a stay not exceeding 30 days.
* Validity of the visa refers to the period when a foreigner can enter the Philippines.
* A person issued a Philippine visa is allowed to stay in the Philippines for a maximum of 59 days.
