Copenhagen, 19 April 2023 - PH Embassy hosted Quezon City Councilors and discussed Copenhagen's experience in running a green, sustainable and smart city.

The Councilors conducted a benchmarking trip in Copenhagen and studied urban planning, school system, biking, housing and waste management. With Copenhagen as QC's aspirational model, the Councilors wish to bring new knowledge and inspiration to current and future policies, projects and goals.

Ambassador Leo Herrera-Lim conveyed the Embassy's hope "for Quezon City to reach its full potential, with the continuous efforts of young and energetic, vision-driven and focused Councilors, to become a model smart city with an engaged citizenry and sustainability mainstreamed in all its processes."
