Copenhagen, 6 March 2023 - PH Embassy and State of Green discussed partnership in learning from Denmark’s experiences on the green transition.

Ambassador Leo Herrera-Lim conveyed the Philippines’ keen interest to learn from Denmark on climate and offshore wind policies, building efficient ferry systems and advancements in energy efficiency.

Mr. Mortensen shared that Denmark’s success in innovation and green technology is based on its strong collaboration with the private sector and the government’s political consensus in establishing climate policies. He also stressed the importance of the government’s role in providing incentives to drive changes in target sectors. END
