Philippine Ambassador to Denmark Leo Herrera-Lim called on Frederiksberg Mayor Michael Vindfeldt and discussed matters of mutual concern.

Discussions focused on developing deeper relations with the Philippines in the areas of smart-city development, cultural and heritage programs and exchange visits. Frederiksberg is the location of several significant institutions, such as the Copenhagen Business School, the University of Copenhagen (Frederiksberg campus), the Copenhagen Zoo, the Cisterne, the Royal Danish Military Academy, as well as the headquarters of Royal Copenhagen company and the Georg Jensen silverware company.

At least 160 Filipinos reside in the city of Frederiksberg.
