Sønderborg, 1 October 2022. The Philippine Embassy in Denmark conducted an outreach in Sønderborg on 1 October 2022, servicing Filipinos living in Southern Denmark.

The consular team was able to render a total of forty (40) services: twelve (12) notarial services; seven (7) passport applications; three (3) Reports of Marriage; one (1) Report of Birth; one (1) dual citizenship; eight (8) consultations on dual citizenship and civil registries; and eight (8) advisories on applications. The consular outreach was held in St. Paul’s Church where the Filipino catholic community attends Sunday mass.

The outreach was also an opportunity to dialogue with several Filipino community leaders in the area and with some Filipino truck drivers based in Denmark (recruited into Poland but based in Padborg, Denmark) on current development in the Philippines and Denmark. Alongside the outreach, the Embassy also conducted a cultural project on Fiesta Filipinas with a select group of participants.

Members of the Filipino Community in Southern Denmark expressed their appreciation on the Embassy’s efforts in bringing the services closer to them.
