Ambassador Leo Herrera-Lim, together with a delegation from the Embassy, met with Føroya Bjór Quality and Production Manager Annika Waag to discuss the potential of offering its products to the Philippines. Føroya Bjór also expressed its plan to hire more workers from PH for its expanding distillery.

The company gave the Embassy delegation a tour around the company’s distillery and offered a taste of the finest selection of its products.

Established in 1888, the company is the oldest brewery in the Faroe Islands. It manufactures the largest selling beer in the islands and also brews brandy, soda water, aquavit and most recently, single malt whiskey.
