5 July 2022, Copenhagen - Philippine Ambassador Leo Herrera-Lim met with Ramboll's Engineering Consultant Stine Dybkjaer to discuss the development of a flood mitigation action plan and inclusive smart flood early warning system (FEWS) for the city of Baguio. The project, which is scheduled for completion in December 2022, aims to build an effective and people-centric FEWS to reduce risks brought about by climate change and rapid urbanization to the city.

Ambassador Herrera-Lim welcomes Ramboll's development of scalable and replicable solutions to build sustainable and smart cities in PH and its efforts to enhance the capability of local government units to address climate hazards.

The project is funded through the ASEAN Australia Smart Cities Trust Fund (AASCTF), financed by the Australian Government and managed by the Asian Development Bank.
