Copenhagen - 21 January 2022 PH Embassy and Molslinjen, a Danish shipping company, discuss updates on the construction of Express 5, Denmark's high-speed ferry being built in Cebu, Philippines.

Ambassador Leo Herrera-Lim and Molslinjen's Chief Engineer Nichlas Hojgaard Thomsen exchanged views on the delivery of the vessel in December 2022. When completed, Express 5 will be the world’s largest ferry by capacity as it can accommodate 1,610 passengers and 450 cars over 2 vehicle decks. It will service the Bornholm route between the cities of Ystad, Sweden and Rønne, Denmark.
