Copenhagen, 10 September 2021 - PH Embassy and Danish shipping company Clipper Group discuss plans to intensify partnership in crew deployment and prospects of shipbuilding in the Philippines.

Ambassador Leo M. Herrera-Lim exchanged views with Amrit Peter Kalsi, CEO of Clipper Group, on developments in the dry bulk shipping industry and addressing bottlenecks in the deployment of Filipino seafarers. Both sides look forward to collaborate in promoting the safety and vaccination of seafarers against COVID-19; and the emerging role of the Philippines as a shipbuilding destination.
