8 June 2022, Frederiksberg: The Philippine Embassy in Denmark hosted a reception to commemorate the 124th Philippine Independence Day for the diplomatic corps and businesses on 8 June 2022 at Frederiksberg.

With the theme, “Rise Towards the Challenge of a New Beginning,” Ambassador Leo Herrera-Lim highlighted the …“need to be extraordinary resilient in providing meaningful and equitable economic recovery after the pandemic, to be unrelenting in combating climate change and to be aggressive in reaching beyond our grasps to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals.” He also informed the guests of the upcoming New Government under President-elect Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.

More than 80 dignitaries, including a large gathering of Ambassadors and senior officials of the Danish government, attended the reception. END
