In partnership with Red Cross Copenhagen, Post’s personnel and their spouses attended a first-aid CPR course at the Chancery facilitated by Mr. Kenneth Kjær, a safety and security consultant, on Saturday, 21 August 2021.

The four-hour first-aid training is designed for the workplace that aims for the employees to know how to aid for cardiac arrest by providing the right implements to perform first-aid effectively. The trainer shared both theoretical and practical simulations as part of the learning process with the use of dummies and automated external defibrillators (AED).

At the end of the course, participants were taught how to provide first-aid in case of unconscious with abnormal breathing; to use AED properly; to perform cardiopulmonary rescucitation (CPR); to provide artificial respiration; to give first-aid in case of foreign objects blocking the airway; and to recognize symptoms of strokes and heart attacks.

With the global pandemic still far from over, Post aims to foster a safer workplace that is prepared to save lives. END
