17 March 2021 COPENHAGEN - Philippine Ambassador Leo M. Herrera- Lim congratulated COWI for its engineering role and Dissing+Weitling for the conceptual design on the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway Project. Being built by Metro Pacific Investments Corporation, the bridge will have massive crosses on all four sides, designed to reflect Cebu's rich history and important landmark.

Ambassador Herrera-Lim remarked that 'the bridge is very important as it will support connectivity in Metro Cebu and improve economic growth and trade in the province. It is an iconic bridge built by Filipinos with Danish engineering and design.'

The bridge also marks the strong friendship between the Philippines and Denmark as the two countries celebrate their 75th year of diplomatic relations this year. END
